Margaret is a seasoned Human Resources executive and business owner with over 25 years of experience in nonprofit organizations and government contracting companies. Margaret has developed a reputation for her fair and strategic approach to human resource management and her ability to align HR initiatives with organizational goals. Her extensive career spans various HR functions, including employee relations, labor relations, talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and regulatory compliance.
She currently serves as the Center for Workforce Inclusion’s Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and leads her HR outsourcing company, Embrace Consulting Services, LLC.
In her role as CHRO, Margaret oversees all aspects of human resources strategy, including talent acquisition, leadership development, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance, labor and employee relations. Her leadership has been instrumental in fostering a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and continuous learning within the organization.
Well-respected in her field, Margaret brings a strategic and hands-on approach to HR management. Her passion for people, coupled with her business acumen, makes her an invaluable asset to any organization she works with.
Margaret completed her undergraduate studies in Human Resources Management at the University of Maryland University College. Margaret considers herself a lifelong learner; she has a passion for learning and helping others; to keep abreast of HR and business trends, she continues her professional development with targeted executive education programs, conferences, and professional courses in Human Resources.
Margaret is an active member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM),
National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) and National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).
Margaret is a mother of two beautiful daughters and one fur baby. In her spare time, Margaret can be found traveling with her wonderful husband, spending time with her family and friends, or simply at home reading and watching movies.
