Like the rest of the country, Maryland job-seekers are returning to a world of work with fewer employers, increased competition, and a need for different skills. Our community members most impacted by the intersection of COVID-19 include older Black, Hispanic, and Asian workers, who often have access to the fewest resources to meet these challenges.
Gary A. Officer, President & CEO of the Center for Workforce Inclusion, sat down with U.S. Senator Ben Cardin (D-Md.) to discuss a number of critical workforce issues confronting our community: President Biden’s Infrastructure Plan, The American Rescue Plan, the American Jobs Plan, and restoring civility to our political discourse.
